FIPS 140-3 & Post-Quantum Cryptography Expert
David an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Texas at Austin and a member of the Cryptography Group.
Previously, he was an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Virginia (UVA). He received his PhD in computer science at Stanford University in 2018, where he was advised by Dan Boneh. He received his MS and BS in computer science from Stanford University in 2013.
His research interests are in cryptography and computer security. Please see his publications and talks pages for a more comprehensive overview of his work.
He is a co-organizer of the Cryptography and Security Seminar and the Texas Crypto Day.
