Volodymyr Zabolotnyi

Volodymyr Zabolotnyi is a senior at the University of Tampa pursuing a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science. His current areas of research include deviations from fairness, randomness assessment, Cantor-like functions, and scientific computing. His current project involves developing a numerical method for quantifying deviations from fairness in potentially unfair random number generators. Most recently, he presented his research, “Analytic Properties of Distributions Associated with Unfair, Multi-state RNGs,” at the 2026 Joint Mathematics Meetings. His broader research interests include inverse problems, uncertainty quantification, and the analysis of systems from incomplete or noisy data.
