Validating Cryptography to Strengthen Digital Security.
The Alliance
Crypto-V Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing cryptographic assurance through validation, education, research, and collaboration.
The “V” in Crypto-V stands for Validation, Validated, and Verified—the principles that guide our mission and our commitment to strengthening trust in digital systems.
We believe that trust in digital security begins with trustworthy cryptography; strong algorithms alone are not enough. Trust requires sound implementation, rigorous testing, independent validation, and the sharing of knowledge and best practices.
Our Mission
Crypto-V Alliance brings together organizations from academia, industry, government, testing laboratories, certification bodies, and the broader cybersecurity community to advance the understanding, implementation, validation, and deployment of trustworthy cryptographic technologies.

We seek to strengthen digital security and increase public confidence in the technologies that protect modern society through our multiple programs, focusing on education, research, publications, and collaboration.
