Over the past eight years, Dan has provided system-on-a-chip (SoC) hardware and intellectual property (IP) security leadership across Qualcomm’s mobile, automotive, and Internet of Things (IoT) business units. As vice president of engineering, he leads Qualcomm’s global SoC security teams across engineering, architecture, and evaluation. Prior to 2014, Dan held security leadership roles at Cryptography Research, Inc./Rambus, where he worked on security silicon IP, software, and infrastructure, and at Certicom/BlackBerry, where he led security hardware development teams in the U.S. and Canada.
