Kevin Stine is Director of the Information Technology Laboratory (ITL) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He previously served as Chief of NIST’s Applied Cybersecurity Division, Chief Cybersecurity Advisor, and Associate Director for Cybersecurity. Throughout his career at NIST, he has led collaborations with industry, academia, and government to advance cybersecurity and privacy risk management through standards, best practices, and technology. He also played a leading role in the development of the widely adopted NIST Cybersecurity Framework. His contributions have earned numerous honors for leadership, excellence in standards development, and public service.
