Joachim is a Senior IT Security Consultant and Deputy CC Laboratory Manager at atsec information security corporation, where he leads FIPS 140-3 testing, evaluations under the NIAP CCEVS, and entropy source validations. He has over five years of experience in the industry, contributing to numerous successful FIPS 140-3 and NIAP evaluations at atsec.
In addition to evaluation work, Joachim regularly presents at conferences on a variety of topics related to FIPS 140-3 and Common Criteria. He also frequently engages with CMVP, NIAP, and NIST to improve the validation requirements and guidance. He currently serves as the chair of the Dedicated Security Components iTC.
Joachim holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from KU Leuven, Belgium.
