David an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department<\/a> at the University of Texas at Austin<\/a> and a member of the Cryptography Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Previously, he was an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department<\/a> at the University of Virginia (UVA)<\/a>. He received his PhD in computer science at Stanford University<\/a> in 2018, where he was advised by Dan Boneh<\/a>. He received his MS and BS in computer science from Stanford University<\/a> in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n His research interests are in cryptography and computer security.
